I've been involved with photography for most of my life. In the late 1960's I started developing film and printing in the darkroom. Today I use both traditional film and digital imaging however the entire process from capturing an image to creating a print is still a magical process to me.

As a photographer, I aim to capture the beauty and emotion of the world around me. Through my lens, I strive to tell stories and create connections with my viewers. I am drawn to candid moments, natural light, and rich colors. My images reflect my own experiences and perspective, and I hope they inspire others to see the world in a new light. Whether I shoot a street scene, a portrait, or a still life, I approach each subject with curiosity and an open mind. I am constantly learning and experimenting, and I believe that this is what keeps my work fresh and exciting.

In my portrait work, I am drawn to the timeless beauty of black-and-white photography. I believe that stripping away the distractions of color allows the viewer to connect more deeply with the photograph’s subject. I strive to capture the unique character and emotion of each person I photograph. Whether I work outdoors with available lighting or in a studio setting I strive to create a sense of intimacy and connection with my subjects. I seek to reveal the beauty and humanity within each of us. I am constantly experimenting with new techniques and approaches, and I am driven by a passion for storytelling and the art of portraiture.
